Welcome to Sea Mar Community Health Centers – Metropolitan Development Council (MDC).

Since 1995, Sea Mar has partnered with MDC to expand services to the homeless population of Pierce County. We specialize in adult primary-care medicine, including preventive health exams, urgent care visits, minor procedures, health education, follow-up care from hospital visits, and referrals for other medical services.

In addition to services available at MDC, Sea Mar’s Tacoma Medical Clinic provides comprehensive health services for the entire family, including dental, behavioral health, and preventive health services.

We are proud of our professional teams of medical providers who care for patients of all ages, religion, ethnicity, or sexual preference without regard to income, occupation, immigration status, or citizenship.

· Immunizations and flu shots

· Acute care

· Chronic disease management (diabetes, asthma, CHF)

· Testing and treatment for tuberculosis, hepatitis, HIV, and other diseases
