Welcome to Sea Mar CHC – Tumwater Behavioral Health Center.

Sea Mar’s Tumwater Behavioral Health Center has been serving Thurston County since 2002. 

The Tumwater site provides mental-health services to children, youth and adults and substance-abuse services to adults in English and Spanish. Our site is state-license as a community mental-health agency and a certified chemical dependency agency.  We meet all requirements for court-mandated services, and we are fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).

Our providers use multidisciplinary practices to develop and maintain individualized treatment goals for each client.  Our well-trained professional team consists of mental health therapists, chemical dependency counselors, psychiatric advanced registered nurse practitioner, and psychiatrists. 

Patients are encouraged to have their families and members of their social support system participate in treatment.  We specialize in providing cultural competent services, and our staff members have received intense training on evidence-based practices to ensure that we provide the best tools to help our patients lead healthy lives.

In addition, we will be opening our Lacey Behavioral Health in August 2010 where we will be providing mental health services for adults, youth and children.
