Welcome to Sea Mar CHC – Tacoma Treatment Center.

Sea Mar’s Tacoma Treatment Center is a 36-bed, state-licensed, JCAHO-accredited facility that offers a 30-day residential program for stabilization and recovery skills for adults who have substance abuse/chemical dependency and alcoholism. We have been providing chemical dependency services in Washington state at this location since 1994. 

We are a multi-cultural, bilingual (English/Spanish) community health provider with a focus on comprehensive care and co-occurring disorder treatment capability. The program has immediate access to mental health and psychiatric services as well as medical services through the nearby Sea Mar Tacoma Medical Clinic and St. Joseph's Medical Center.

Our staff consists of chemical dependency professionals, group life counselors, a part-time mental health therapist, and treatment attendants. We work in collaboration with medical and dental staff, nutritionists, and health educators to ensure our clients receive a “whole person” intervention while at the Tacoma Treatment Center.
