Welcome to Sea Mar CHC – Monroe Behavioral Health Center. 

Sea Mar’s Monroe Behavioral Health Center has been serving Snohomish County since year 2000

We are a state-licensed community mental health agency and a certified chemical dependency agency. We meet all requirements for court-mandated services, and we are fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).

Monroe Behavioral Health Center’s well-trained professional team, consisting of mental health therapists, chemical dependency counselors, psychiatric advanced registered nurse practitioners, and psychiatrists, provides quality mental health and substance abuse services to children, youth and adults.

We specialize in providing culturally competent services and our staff members have received intense training on evidence-based practices to ensure that our patients can lead healthy lives. Team members support each other in using multidisciplinary practices to develop and maintain individualized treatment goals for each client. 

Patients’ families and members of their social support system are encouraged to participate in treatment. 

At our center, we pride ourselves on doing all we can to ensure that patients receive the highest quality of care and service.

Chemical Dependency Services

·    Drug and alcohol evaluations (English and Spanish)

·    DUI assessments

·    Deferred prosecution

·    Relapse prevention

·    Monthly monitoring

·    Aftercare

·    Dual diagnosis groups    

·    Intensive outpatient treatment

·    Family counseling

·    ADATSA treatment services.

·    ADIS classes

We are eligible to provide court-mandated services to adults. Treatment includes individual and group therapy as well as random drug/alcohol testing.  We use evidence-based practices with approaches such as motivational interviewing, dialectic behavioral therapy, and family systemic intervention.
